Upon completion of his specialty training at Tufts University School of Dental Medicine, in recognition of his academic accomplishments, Dr. Emanuele Cicero had the honor of being selected as a full-time faculty member and appointed Assistant Professor at Tufts University were he contributes to evolving comprehensive dental education that integrates science, technology, patient needs, and lifelong learning in a world-class environment.
As an educator Dr. Emanuele Cicero has taught hundreds of dental students and dentists through clinical supervision, lectures, and workshops.
Dr. Emanuele Cicero’s primary responsibility as a faculty of the Department of Prosthodontics lies in the education and training students in the restorative aspects of bringing a damaged dentition back to biologic health, function, esthetics and comfort. This is accomplished by teaching and practicing the clinical techniques of modern restorative dentistry and prosthodontics including implant dentistry on the basis of current evidence in the related sciences.
He offers extensive didactic, clinical and laboratory phases of training in conventional prosthodontics, esthetic, implant and digital dentistry. An additional emphasis is also placed on diagnosis, treatment planning as well as comprehensive care for advanced patients using an evidence-base, multidisciplinary approach.
